Saturday morning, the Chevy's are gathering for a car show at Bob Stall Chevrolet. Dick Williams, President of Classic Chevy's of San Diego, has invited me to join their select group of owners for this car show. This is the dealership where I ordered the ALL 50 Corvette!
The pride of ownership of these cars is evident as I talk to their owners. Several of these cars have been featured in various publications.
Duane stops to look at the ALL 50 map. During our conversation, he tells me of some friends who, in the spring of 2002, took a Cessna 170 to all lower 48 states!
31 days, 63 airports, 8545 statue miles! Wow!
I'm not the only crazy one!
Later at the show, I was touting my trip, pointing to Moorhead, Minnesota (Ray’s home-town). A gentleman states that his family was from Barnesville 20 miles away. Further conversation revealed he had known my grandfather!
It's really a small world we have!

I am currently trying to plan another trip to South Dakota for the Black Hills Corvette Classic in July.
It's hard to beat the open road!
