Leave Seaside and head towards San Jose to drop (my fiancé) Karen off at the airport.

Up 101 to San Francisco and Fisherman's Wharf. I get a lucky break at the light, and jump out and grab a picture.

I decide to head downtown and get a picture with the cable cars. As I'm parked taking a picture of the coming cable car, a bicycle police officer approaches and instructs me the zone is for truck parking only. "The Card" is presented, and once again a friendly gesture comes forward in that I'm given directions to the top of California Street, and that there should be available parking. Good Suggestion.

OK, heading for the Golden Gate Bridge, I discover the signs say I'm heading for the Bay Bridge. OOPS, I'm in Oakland. U-turn, back across the BAY BRIDGE and heading for the Golden Gate. I turn off Geary Blvd. to get down to the water front to get pictures. I find my way along the water front to Fort Point. As I'm trying to get back on 101 to head across the bridge, there's California Street. I was less than 4 blocks from here an hour ago, instead I ended up in Oakland!

This is one of the reasons I'm looking forward to getting to my sisters house so that I can update my schedule after the changes.

I am taking Highway 37 to catch I-80.  My timing has got me caught at the beginning of rush hour.  While stopped on the highway, I grab the map book and notice a secondary road north out of Napa. 121 to 128 is a Corvette lovers dream! No traffic, plenty of curves, beautiful!

Arriving in Redding, I get a hotel room and head for dinner. I drive by a self serve wash and U-turn to get the ZO6 washed.

Then off to dinner. It is Cinco de Mayo so its Mexican tonight!
